Basic Education for New Members is an eight-class introduction to the League’s understanding of social change, the revolutionary process, the new class created by labor-replacing technology, race in America, communism, fascism and the role of the League.

Introduction
The course begins from the idea that today’s transformation is qualitatively different from earlier periods of reform. Digital production increasingly requires little or no human labor, creating new social forces and disrupting institutions built around industrial wage labor. The course asks members to study those objective changes and the political tasks that arise from them.
